The Vagina Monologues, V-Day Event
Carrie's Place is presenting a performance of Eve Ensler's award winning play 'The Vagina Monologues' at the Civic Theatre Newcastle on Friday 17
March 2006. The play has been performed around the world to acclaimed reviews.This is a major fundraiser for Carrie's Place with funds raised going directly into providing services and support to women and children in our area in the prevention of domestic violence.
The production is the Newcastle / Hunter sanctioned event as part of 'V-DAY 2006' - a worldwide annual campaign that aims to promote awareness of, and
stop, violence against women and girls.
